Reports, Queries and Templates

Reports

Reports can be created in buyer360 to display data showing all types of activity on your account. Your buyer360 account comes preloaded with example reports showing overviews of your account's ordering history. These can be edited to better fit your needs, or used as templates for you to develop your own reports.

A report in buyer360 is linked to a report query and/or a report template. Reports can also be created to show in Dashboards as Dashboard Parts.

Creating a Report

  1. Go to the settings page by selecting Settings from the top right menu.
  2. Select Advanced Settings from the left hand menu.
  3. Click the Reports link on the advanced settings page.
  4. Click the green New button on the reports page.
  5. Enter the report Name, and optionally a Description and Category.
  6. Select a Connected Data Query from the drop-down box if you wish to show some data in your report. Using a Query and not a Template will give you a plain table of data.
  7. Select a Report Template from the drop-down box if you wish to customize the look of your report. Templates can be used without a Query to display custom HTML in a Dashboard.
  8. Edit the report Type if you wish to only show this report as a Report, or a Dashboard Part.
  9. Edit the Part Layout if you are having issues displaying your template. You can choose between an IFrame or an Embedded DIV. Only change this if you understand codeing.
  10. Click Save.

Report Queries

Report Queries collect data from your orders and other properties of your account, for example: a list of your highest spending users, your most popular items or details about your recent orders.
