Assigning users to roles

Use the Roles option on the security menu to assign users to particular roles. Roles define the permissions that a user has to do certain tasks within catalog360. For example, you might have a role defined to allow the processing of purchase invoices.

To add users to a role

  1. On the Security menu, click Roles. The Roles form appears.
  2. in the Name column, click the name of the role you want to assign users to. The details of the role appear in a new form.
  3. Alongside Add new user, click to choose from the drop-down list the name of the user you want to assign to the current role.
  4. Click Add. The user will be added to the list of all those assigned to the same role.
