Use the Roles option on the security menu to assign users to particular roles. Roles define the permissions that a user has to do certain tasks within catalog360. For example, you might have a role defined to allow the processing of purchase invoices.
To add users to a role
- On the Security menu, click Roles. The Roles form appears.
- in the Name column, click the name of the role you want to assign users to. The details of the role appear in a new form.
- Alongside Add new user, click to choose from the drop-down list the name of the user you want to assign to the current role.
- Click Add. The user will be added to the list of all those assigned to the same role.
