Maintaining contact activity types

Activity types refer to the type of interaction you have with people identified in your contact records. The information is used to provide you with activity logs that help you keep track of these interactions, so you know what's taken place and when.

For example, telephone calls, emails, visits, letters, quotations and so on, all activity types. You can break activities down to whatever level is useful. For example, calls could be subdivided into inbound and outbound calls, or visits might be distinguished between initial engagement, customer service or troubleshooting.

You can produce the contact activity report using the Contact Activity Log option on the Reports submenu in catalog360 Administration.
