Submitting a requisition starts the approval process. This process will be configured in catalog360 according to your organisation’s policies. There are a number of factors that can contribute to the process, such as value thresholds, contractual requirements, and so on.
People who are in the approval chain – it might be one person or several – are notified when a requisition is raised and can review what you’ve included.
If you want to know who is involved in approving your request, you can do this by viewing the pending request.
To view a pending request and the approval chain
- On the Portal Home page, choose the Pending Approval icon. Alternatively, choose Requests, then choose Pending Requests.
- Under Actions, choose View.
- Scroll down the page to the Approval Chain heading, under which you'll see the name and email address of the approver or approvers.
