New features in catalog360 Release 1.6.25

Settings > Advanced Settings

Default values can be assigned to the following Item attributes:

  • Item type
  • Transaction type
  • Unit of Measure
  • Asset Type

Product Details > Items

The main Item details tab has been extended to include a selector for the Asset Type.

Draft Request Page

When creating Not-Found-New/Free text products, the following fields will be assigned default values in accordance with the corresponding field values in Admin Advanced Settings page:

  • Item type
  • Transaction type
  • Unit of Measure
  • Asset Type

When viewing the Recent/Starred items lists, products will only be displayed where the product is still available in the website Catalogue.

Requests

The Request Detail page now displays for each Request line any corresponding Sourcing Event or Purchase Order details.

Orders

The Order status filter has been optimized to ensure that Orders only appear when the Order status matches the filter setting.

The “Release Purchase Order” process has been improved to prevent the release of a Request that is being simultaneously recalled by the Requestor.

The Purchase Order creation and editing workflows have been improved to ensure that in all cases a Purchase PDF is created/updated where the PDF template exists.

The Purchase Order edit has been optimized so that amended details are shown correct in the Admin Site Purchase Orders page.

Order Shipments

Assignment of Shipment Arrived/Received status has been optimized.

Assets

The Assets pages have been extended to support “Group Assets”. Group Assets can have a quantity of more than 1, do not require the assignment of Asset IDs and the Shipment of a Group Asset will not cause the creation of an Asset Information Request.

An extended filter has been added to the Assets list, to enable filtering by Buying Account, Bill-To Address, Ship-To Address and original Requestor name.

Tasks

The Task workflows have been extended to support “Group Assets”. Group Assets can have a quantity of more than 1, and do not have Asset IDs.

The Task Edit feature has been extended so that users with appropriate permission can edit completed tasks as well as active tasks.

Dashboard

Framework components for the new Portal Dashboard are included with this release. The dashboard can be used to display customer-generated reports using a variety of visual styles, including data listings and charting displays.

The import data tool now supports specific “modes” for import;

  • Update/delete
  • Insert only
  • Default - look for existing data and insert-update-delete as required

The scheduled import has been extended to support the following inbound job/file attributes;

  • Update/delete
  • Insert only
  • Maximum file count
  • Wildcard file name
